Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Club

Royal Ashdown has been welcoming visitors to play its Old course for over 130 years and are assured an excellent experience at this fine, traditional Members’ Golf Club.

When you arrive, you will be warmly welcomed by our friendly Professionals, who will direct you to the changing room, lounge, bar, practice facilities or 1st tee.

Whilst predominantly a Two-ball (singles or foursomes) course, Four-ball play is permitted on Mondays, with the exception of Bank Holidays, and Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 13.00. Visitors seeking to play a Three/Four-ball on an alternative day of the week may request to do so via the General Manager.

Avoid Slow Play!

Slow play decreases the enjoyment of every other player on the course. Please do all you possibly can to avoid it – pick up when you cannot score and keep up with the group in front.
